What's a Baby-D, anyway?
When it comes to guitar players and amplifiers, it's like dating. You try this one and that one, and at some point or another, you say "If I could just have this one's cleans, and this one's crunch, and this one's OD, and this one's look and this one's ...". Well, you get the picture.
We pretty much already knew we wanted a D-style OD section, but with a little more adjustable range. And compressed cleans with the ability to EQ them to match our guitar de jour. And a "new vintage" look. And a speaker cabinet that sounds big without BEING big, with a closed AND open back.
Well...
Since that wasn't out there, we set out to provide. After all, working musicians would rather not have to bring multiple amps, one for each of those desires - most of us can't afford cartage!
Each step of the way, we imagined being able to bring one amp, and play country, classic rock, blues, R&B, 90's, anything! But could it be done?
